How do I measure for a Mirror Wrap?

Read our Measure Guide to determine the size of your Mirror Wrap. You will need to measure the exact width and height of your mirror to the nearest 1/8″.

How do I find the linear feet of a Mirror Wrap?

The linear feet of a Mirror Wrap can be found by using the following equation:

LINEAR FEET = (Length x 2 + Height x 2, Divided by 12). Round up to the nearest whole #. Example: 12.3 = 13

Is a Mirror Wrap made of real wood?

Mirror Wraps are made of a wood and polystyrene.

How do I install a Mirror Wrap?

All Mirror Wraps apply directly to the face of the mirror (not around the mirror) using a double sided Very High Bond (VHB) tape which comes attached to the back of the frame.

Do I need any tools to install a Mirror Wrap?

The only tools you will need to install a Mirror Wrap are a soft rubber mallet and an extra person if your mirror is longer than 60″. Everything else will be included in your Mirror Wrap kit.

Do I have to buy anything else to install my Mirror Wrap?

Nothing else is required to be purchased prior to or during the Mirror Wrap installation.

Does a Mirror Wrap install over existing bevel strips?

Bevel strips are a 2″ strip of mirror used to trim the edge of the mirror. If you have bevel strips on your mirror, you will need to remove them before you can apply Mirror Wraps to your mirror.

Does a Mirror Wrap install onto a beveled mirror?

No. Mirror Wraps need a flat, smooth surface to attach to your mirror successfully.

What is included in the Mirror Wrap kit I receive?

All Mirror Wrap kits include all four (4) sides, required hardware and instructions on how to put the Mirror Wrap together before applying to your mirror.

How is the Mirror Wrap shipped?

The Mirror Wrap Kit is shipped direct to your home and will arrive in a mailing tube with everything you need to assemble and install it. We pre-assemble each Mirror Wrap before it leaves the factory to ensure a proper fit.

How soon does the Mirror Wrap ship?

Once the Mirror Wrap order is placed, the customer should receive the product within two (2) weeks.

What is the difference between Clips and a J-Channel?

Depending upon the type of clips your mirror has determines if the Mirror Wrap will work. A mirror clip is usually no larger than 1″ wide and is used to secure the plate mirror to the wall. If your clip is thicker than 1/8″, please call us at (770) 477 – 9308. J-Channels are long metal j-shaped strips across the bottom of your mirror used to support the mirror at the base.

What if I need a Mirror Wrap that exceeds 108"?

We understand that some mirrors do exceed 108″. Therefore, it is possible to order two complete frames and place them side by side giving the appearance of two framed mirrors.

Will the Mirror Wrap warp due to moisture or humidity?

Mirror Wraps are made of humidity and moisture resistant materials, as they are primarily made for bathroom applications.

How do I care for a Mirror Wrap?

Mirror Wraps can be cleaned with a damp cloth using water only. Windex or other chemicals could damage the finish of your Mirror Wrap over time.

Can I remove a Mirror Wrap after installation?

Mirror Wraps are applied with a very strong adhesive tape, but it can be removed with fishing line or a strong dental floss by separating the tape from the mirror with a sawing motion. Any residual adhesive can be removed by using Goo Gone or any similar adhesive remover.
